Lighting & photography

Product names, specifications and product photography are from YIOSI, used with the retailer’s permission. The room’s lamp models are visual interpretations made from those photographs and published dimensions; they are not manufacturer CAD files or measured lighting simulations. Showroom photographs and film were provided by Angemill.

AI room visualizations

The Harlow and Ginkgo dining-room images were created with AI using the authorized YIOSI product photographs as references. They show imagined interiors, not actual Angemill installations. Product details, finish and scale remain illustrative; factory photography and confirmed specifications guide the final selection. The original showroom photos and film remain separate from these generated images.

AI materials in the live 3D room

The ivory-linen surface image, garden outside the window and framed artwork were created with AI for this scene. An earlier AI smoked-oak image is retained in the source assets; the current dining room uses the credited low-contrast oak texture. They are mapped onto real 3D surfaces; the room, furniture and selected lamp remain independent geometry. Existing normal and roughness maps support the surface materials. The view keeps a comfortable fixed distance while the camera moves along an indoor arc. The dining room shell and contact shadows use diffuse daylight precomputed with Blender Cycles and denoised with OpenImageDenoise. Furniture and interchangeable fixtures retain real-time physical materials and fixture lighting. Other room lighting uses real-time rendering.

Interactive craft

The site uses React and Three.js; the dining room daylight was prepared in Blender 4.5 LTS using Cycles. Development experiments also evaluated three-gpu-pathtracer, with three-mesh-bvh and xatlas-web; that experimental mode is not enabled for visitors. Motion components are adapted from React Bits; the original license and notices are retained. The room is a styling study, not a photometric lighting calculation.
